Donald L. Luskin
Donald L. Luskin is chief investment office of Trend Macrolytics LLC, an economics consulting firm that serves America’s largest institutional investors. He is a contributing editor of National Review Online (where he writes the Krugman Truth Squad column) and SmartMoney.com (where he writes the Ahead of the Curve column). His blog is called The Conspiracy to Keep You Poor and Stupid, which is also the name of his forthcoming book. Prior to founding Trend Macrolytics Don was Vice Chairman and co-Chief Investment Officer of Barclays Global Investors, where he managed over half a trillion dollars in global quantitative and indexed strategies on behalf of the world's largest institutional investors. He is the author of Index Options and Futures: The Complete Guide, and editor of Portfolio Insurance: The Guide to Dynamic Hedging, both published by Wiley & Company.
